The much awaited Charmy starrer ’16 Days’ is finally releasing on February 13. The film is directed by Prabhu Soloman. The film has been made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.
A newcomer Aravind is the hero and Dharani has scored the music for the film. The film has been produced with high technical values and has been converted into DI format for better clarity.
Charmy is eagerly awaiting the release of the film and hopes that it will become a big hit like Manthra.

Maro charithra...!
‘Maro Charithra’ was the black and white classic of the yesteryear starring Kamal Haasan and Saritha as the hero and heroine. Director K. Balachandar directed this sensational hit and a sequel is being planned for the same.
The popular star of recent times Varun Sandesh of ‘Happy Days’ and ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ fame is going to play the hero. A photographer from the Hindi movie ‘Race’, Ravi Yadav is going to debut as a director in this movie. ‘Dil’ Raju teaming up with another producer is going to make this movie.

Big B bags World Economic Forum award
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be honoured by the World Economic Forum for outstanding excellence in art. The Crystal Award is to be conferred on the veteran actor at a ceremony at Davos, Switzerland later on Saturday. Noted Kuchipudi and Bharatnatyam dancer Mallika Sarabhai will also be honoured for outstanding excellence in the field of culture.The event will be attended by former British prime minister Tony Blair, Microsoft's Bill Gates and leaders from several countries among others. "I had no idea there is so much visibility for Indian cinema in other parts of the world. This is just so amazing. The movies which they are marketing now are Blade Babji, Chintakayala Ravi and Ankith Pallavi & Friends. The company got a online store and it is now open for orders. The 'no compromise' filmmaker Nallamalupu Bujji does not mind spending a little extra money when it matters. Now he is said to be spending Rs 10 lacs to give away quality lyrics books with photos for the music album of his latest flick 'Koncham Istam Koncham Kastam'. It is mainly followed in Bollywood. He did the same stint for his earlier film Chintakayala Ravi and he is doing the same for KIKK music too. The music has been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and is doing well at the markets.
Nagesh Tamil comedian dead
Chennai, Jan 31 Veteran comedian Nagesh, who carved a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry both in humourous and character roles, died here today after a brief illness, family sources said.
Born as Gundu Rao to a Kannada Brahmin family in 1933, Nagesh was the most sought after actor in the MGR-Sivaji era of Tamil cinema in the 1960s and mid-seventies, and was a regular feature in the movies of these late superstars.
Nagesh, who was suffering from prolonged illness, breathed his last at his residence.
A 1000-film veteran, Nagesh was known for his timing and intonation that had the audience in splits. Even in serious movies, his roles were well-appreciated.
Nagesh has played some memorable characters. His role in ’Thiruvilaiyadal’ as Dharumi, a poet struggling to make ends meet and who gets a tete-a-tete with Lord Shiva, and as aspiring director Chellappa in ’Kadhalikaa Neramillai,’ are still remembered by Tamil movie-goers.
The actor also proved his mettle with serious roles in films like ’Ethirneechal’ and ’Neerkumizhi,’ besides playing the villain in Kamal Hassan starrer ’Apporva Sagotharagal,’ dubbed in Hindi as ’Appu Raja.’ PTI
