Inspector Dayanand (Jagapathi Babu) is a sincere and persevering officer who cleanses the society with his gun. He wins Presidential Award as an encounter specialist. There will be envy of fellow officers around him for the popularity he gets among police circles and public. He struggles between his ideologies and apparent politics within his department. But he loses his wife followed by strife with a mafia don. He finds the culprit amidst a popular assumption, and finally puts an end to his life using his intelligence.
