Homam, the first film in which J.D. Chakravarthy and Jagapathi Babu acted together, was a super-duper hit directed by J.D. himself. In fact, Homam was his acting debut in Telugu. After the success of Homam in which Jagapathy Babu played an undercover cop, J.D. and Jagapathy have become the best of friends.
Right now, Jagapathi Babu is playing the role of an encounter specialist in Siddham directed by J.D. and slated for a February release. The duo are even working on a sequel to the hit Raksha. Vamsi Krishna Akella, who directed Raksha, will direct the sequel as well.
With Jagapathi Babu tying up with J.D. for two films in a row, it seems likely that another powerful friendship is in the making. we hope that this friendship will grow with time and wishes the duo all the best in its endeavours.
